Antique Oriental laquer 4 panel folding screen !

Antique Oriental laquer 4 panel folding screen Hand painted original Japanese blinds/room divider. Two separate scenes... one on either side.The first side is a simple rock, bamboo, flower and bird scene in black and greens. The second side is more complex: A river scene, bridge, flowers, tree and 4 ladies with a pagoda in the background. There is a border decoration of birds and hearts. The feet are brass. The hinges are brass. The paintings are deep etched into the wood. The piece measures: 60 inches high by 64 inches wide. Each panel is 16 inches by 60 inches. They are scuffed and the pictures have a few chips on them. So not perfect. The screens weigh 47 lbs. very heavy but very beautiful. Pick up from Battersea, London.
